The only son to the late Oscar and Marie Nee Sherwood Fike he was born at home. Dad was a graduate of Toppenish High School. Served in the US Navy on the USS Fiske DD/DDR 842 from 1958 to 1962. He became a "Blue Nose" in the Navy. Graduated from Central Washington University in Ellensburg while working two jobs, one at Safeway the other at Boise Cascade while having a stay at home wife and four children. He taught school in White Swan WA. After teaching for a few years he began a career selling insurance. He loved going to Portland OR to see Luciano Pavarotti and reading James Michner. He enjoyed traveling to France.
Bob was a loving uncle to his three nieces Lori, Terrie and Cindee and a loving father to only one of his four children. Dad was married and divorced twice, Leona (Toby) Nee Franks Fike and Marilyn Edwards Nee Pister Fike. He is survived by his four children; Robin, Troy, Mellissa (Missy) and Randy, grandchildren Paula, Adam, Stephanie, Amber and Lisa. He is preceded in death by his parents Oscar and Marie, sisters; Karen Lynn Fike, Patricia Nee Fike Horah and Linda Nee Fike Herman and grandson Paul Richmond.
