On Dec. 25, 1888, she was united in marriage to Chas. R. Short of Kilbourne, Mr. Short taking her to the farm which was to be her lifetime home. To this union five children were born: Nellie Agnes and Iri who departed this life in childhood, Margaret, George and Clyde, located in the home.
