Mr. Robert Clark, son of Robert and Duranda Clark, was born in Morgan County, Ohio, October 20, 1856 and settled in Vernon County, Wis. in 1871, where he resided until June 21, 1912 when he was taken to a hospital in Red Wing, Minn., where he passed away July 1, 1912 aged 55 years, 8 months, 41 days.
He leaves to mourn his departure his mother Mrs. Duranda Clark, six brothers and one sister. His brothers are: Marion, Charlie, Link, George, Ciley, and Miles; his sister Mrs. Alice McKee.
His father, one brother John, 2 sisters, Mrs. Lydia DeWitt, and Mary Clark having gone on before. He was married to Ida Appleman of Vernon County, Wis, October 18, 1882 to which union was born seven children one girl and six sons, Charlie and Mrs. Katie Henry of LaFarge Ronal, Hobert, Cassius, Jay and Chester at home and a host of friends The funeral was held Wednesday July third 1912 and the remains were layed at rest in the Dell cemetery,
