Margaret Schroepfer, 81, of 1018 S. Front St. in New Ulm, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2000, at Fairview Riverside Rehabilitation Center in Minneapolis.

Mass of Christian burial will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm with burial in the Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation is 9-10 a.m. at Minnesota Valley Funeral Home in New Ulm on Saturday.

She is survived by her sister, Violet Dunn of the Fairfax Community Home in Fairfax; brother-in-law, Willie Schroepfer of the Lafayette Good Samaritan Care Center in Lafayette; and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert Schroepfer in 1998; and brothers, George and Sidney Casper.

She was born April 15, 1918, at Madison Lake to Bert and Laura (Knapp) Casper. She married Albert Schroepfer on March 8, 1958, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in New Ulm.
