Henry Gillin Castin Jr. 95, of Williamstown, WV passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Camden-Clark Medical Center. He was born March 5, 1920 in Pennsboro, WV to the late Henry Gillin Sr. and Dorothy Forester Castin Fritche.

Henry served in the U.S. Army during WWII in New Guinea in combat for 33 months, then served in the U.S. Army Air Corp as a B-29 Engine Mechanic. After returning, he managed the local Sohio Stations in Marietta and Belpre. He was a member of the Marietta Church of the Nazarene, American Legion Post #64 and V.F.W. Post #5108.

Henry is survived by two sons Mike Castin (Sherry) and Steve Castin, both of Fairborn, OH, grandchildren Chad Castin of Enon, OH, Lori Schumann (Jeff) of Yellow Springs, OH, and Michelle Castin of Enon, OH, also seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Martha Jane Swisher Castin (9/1/2010), sisters Juanita Lynch and Coralene Castin and two brothers Omer and Homer Castin.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Hadley Funeral Home Reno Chapel, 1021 Pike Street, Marietta with Pastor Terry Schmelzenbach officiating. Burial to follow in Valley Cemetery.
