Charles "Chuck" Gordon Dorin
age 91, long-time resident of Belleville, MI, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016 at his home surrounded by family. He was born May 31, 1924 in Lyons, Michigan, son of Frank Wesley & Alta (Fitch) Dorin. Chuck proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Air Force. He was a welder for Ford Motor Company for nearly 20 years, before he retired from the Rawsonville Road Plant on his 60th birthday. He was a member of Bethany Bible Church, Belleville. He enjoyed wood-working. Mr. Dorin is survived by his devoted wife Mary (Luguzan) Dorin of nearly 69 years, two nieces Ruth Ciocan of Dearborn, MI and Jane (Greg) Hooper of Rochester Hills, MI, great-nephew Joshua Hooper and great-niece Sara Hooper, both of Rochester Hills, sister-in-law Sadie Kemp of Dearborn, MI, also many friends and church family. He was preceded in death by his parents, also his children in infancy, Michael Gary and Patricia Ann. Visitation will be 2-4 PM Sunday at Bethany Bible Church, 810 E. Huron River Dr., Belleville, MI 48111. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, March 7, 2016 at Bethany with visitation 10-11 AM. Rev. Losen and Pastor Bonner will co-officiate. A private interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Belleville. Arrangements by David C. Brown Funeral Home, Belleville, MI (734)697-4500.
