Lenard W. Barnard, age 73, died Tuesday night. Born in Kingfisher, Oklahoma, Sept. 12, 1900.
Mr. Barnard was a district foreman for Natural Gas Pipeline Co. of America from 1927-1944 and was located at Great Bend, Kansas. In 1944, he with his family moved to Ochelata, Okla., where they operated a cattle ranch. From 1946-1953, he operated a dairy farm at Owasso, Okla. From there he moved to Tulsa and was employed by the Tulsa Board of Education in the maintenance department. He retired from this position in 1966.
He is survived by his wife Iona, and a son; two brothers; and two sisters.
He was a member of the Sandusky Avenue Christian Church and a member of the Glasco, Kansas Masonic Lodge.
Services will be at Stanley's Funeral Home, 10 a.m. Friday. Friends may contribute to the Heart Fund.
