Rosa Tucker was born in Ohio about 1850. She married Marshall Bates in Williams County, Ohio in 1870. They had six children. Rosa contracted tuberculosis which caused her death at the age of 46 or 47. Sadly Rosa's place of burial is not listed on her death certificate and remains unknown to this day.
