Alli YiYing Beus December 2, 1998 ~ November 21, 2014

Our beautiful daughter and sister, Alli Beus, age 15, left this world and returned to her Father in Heaven on November 21, 2014. Alli was born in Taipei, Taiwan, where she lived for 11 years. She was adopted into our family on Christmas Day in 2009. We traveled to Taiwan to bring her home in January 2010. We immediately felt a connection with her and she captured our hearts.

She has lived in Highland, Utah since then, attending Mountain Ridge and Lone Peak High Schools and home school, and was a member of the American Heritage Youth Chorus. Although it was very short, she lived a beautiful life. She had a kind and generous spirit and was full of life and light. Alli had a great sense of humor. She made our home fun and lively and always kept us laughing.

She had many talents. She loved to dance and sing and play her guitar. She was a gifted artist and ice skater and loved to ride her longboard. She also loved nature and long drives in the mountains, especially American Fork Canyon and the Alpine Loop. She loved animals, especially her dogs Belle and Zazzie. She had a big heart and loved everyone. She taught us so much about life and what it really means to love. Our lives will never be the same. She helped us to open our hearts and minds in so many ways and we will always be grateful for the things she has taught us. She was an example of strength and courage, always accepting and rising above the challenges she faced.

We are happy she is with her grandparents and uncle and other family members who love her. We look forward to the day we will meet again. Alli leaves behind her grandparents, Gary and Carol Beus; her mother and father, Steve and Dena Beus; her brothers and sisters, Corey (23) and his wife Emily, Danny (23), Emily (21), aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

Funeral services for Alli will be held Saturday, November 29, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. in the LDS chapel at 5850 West 10400 North; Highland, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to the funeral services from8:15-9:45.

We also want to thank the doctors and nurses at Primary Children’s Medical Center for the loving care they gave Alli. Our hearts were touched by their compassion for Alli and our family and their dedicated attention to her during the time she was there.
