Hulon Lamar Minor of Duluth died Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2007. He was 86.

He was born in Norcross, where he resided for most of his life, and was a member of Norcross First Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. He was also an Army veteran of World War II, having served in Germany. He was employed as a buyer for Rayloc Corp. before retiring in 1988. He also enjoyed gardening and his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Alma Minor; wife, Bettye Jean Minor; two brothers, Keith and Marcus Minor.

Survivors include his two daughters and sons-in-law, Michelle and Bruce Coyle of Milledgeville, Bridgette and Terry Watts of Chickamauga; son and daughter-in-law, Lamar and Teresa Minor of Duluth; brother, Horace Minor of Snellville; two sisters and brother-in-law, Christine and Raymond Williams of Watkinsville (formerly of Snellville) and Rebecca Minor of Watkinsville (formerly of Norcross); three grandchildren, Hannah Coyle and Allison and Andy Watts.
