John W. Hazelrigg died Tuesday morning about 9 o'clock at his residence one mile west of Bucklin. Although sadly afflicted for many years his death at this time was unlooked for, he being as well as usual until a few hours before his death. He was born in Grayson Co., Ky., and when but a child came to Pike Co., Ill., where he lived until three years ago when he came to Missouri. He was married at the age of 22 and his faithful companion survives him. He and his wife joined the Primitive Baptist church in Illinois and lived consistent members. The remains are to be buried today near El Dara, Ill.
