Mrs. Lillie Porter Wentz, 73, wife of Paul Wentz of Chester, former Franklin resident, died Sunday night in the Chester Hospital following a lingering illness. She was born in Franklin, daughter of Henry and Jennie Porter. The family moved to Chester more than 20 years ago.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Pail; a daughter, Mrs. Albert Fricke, both of Chester; three brothers, Lester of Franklin, Charles of New Castle, and Harry of Detroit; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Hefferman of Franklin, Mrs.Pearl Wieder of Cochranton, Mrs. Margaret Anderson of Retsil, WA, and Mrs. G. F. McDaniel of Harriman, TN; 9 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at McCabe Funeral Home in Cochranton at 11 am Thursday. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery.
