Clement Few, 92, dean of Paris real estate men and oldest man to continue in business here, died Thursday at 11:45 p.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital.

He lived at 966 Lamar Ave. on the route of US Highway 82, which, in Mississippi, passes through Walthall, the town where he was born, 21 Dec 1868, son of B.E. (Eli) and Margaret Ann Few.

He had been a resident of Paris just 68 years, having come here 4 Sep 1893.

Three years later, 14 Oct 1896, he married Miss Effie Mae George, her death occurring here 30 Jun 1916.

Long a member of First Christian Church, which he had served as elder and clerk, he was a member of the board of directors of the church-owned Juliette Fowler Home in Dallas. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge here, the Chamber of Commerce and the Paris Real Estate Board, of which he was secretary. Member of the real estate firm of Anderson, Thompson and Few, 120 N. Main St., he had been in the real estate business since 1918. Prior to that time, he had been employed as collector and bookkeeper for Rodger-Wade Furniture Company and the old Paris Furniture Manufacturing Company.

Surviving are his children: Ellsworth E. Few, Stratford, Conn.; Miss Lillian Few, and Mrs. V.O. Kyle, Paris, and Mrs. E.W. Rowland, Commerce, and three grandchildren, Mary Ann Rowland and Kay and Pam Kyle.

The funeral, Saturday at 4 p.m. will be held at Fry and Gibbs chapel, and interment made in Evergreen Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. Don Mecoy of First Christian Church; the Rev. Ted McElroy, Wichita Falls, a former pastor here, and the Rev. Harvey Redford of Memorial Christian Church.
