Daughter of Thomas H. Rodman and Julia E. Willoughby, wife of Harry Colfax Mallory, whom she married on March 18, 1891 in Frankfort, Kentucky, and mother of Julia Willougby and Mary R. Mallory (married Janvier).

In 1880, Sue H. Rodman, aged 10, was living in Frankfort, Frankfort, Kentucky, in the home of her parents, Thomas Rodman Sr., aged 54, and Julia W. Rodman, aged 2, with siblings, Hettie Rodman, aged 23, Willoughby Rodman, aged 20, Lizzie Rodman, aged 18, Burt Rodman, aged 20, and grandparents, B.C. Willoughby, aged 73, a minister, and Joanna Willoughby, aged 73, and servant, Martha Miller, aged 24. Her father was shown to be a dry goods merchant.

Marriage - Frankfort, March 18 - The marriage of Miss Sue Rodman to Mr. Harry Colfax Mallory took place this evening at 6 o'clock at the First Baptist Church, the Rev. William Taylor officiating. The church, which was beautifully decorated with flowers and pot plants, was thronged with invited friends. Promptly at the hour, Prof. Wayland Graham, who presided at the organ, began the Lohengrin Wedding March, and the bridal party entered the church, separating in couples, while proceeding up the right aisles, and meeting and forming at the altar in a crescent, with the bride and groom in the center facing the minister; the groom and his best man having come down the aisle from the chancel to meet and escort the bride and maid of honor to the altar. The bride, who is the youngest daughter of Col. Thomas Rodman, President of the Farmers' Bank, is one of the most beautiful of last season's debutantes. She was attired in a heavy white silk, entrain. She wore a veil and carried a bouquet of white roses. The groom is the son of Mr. Martin Mallory, of New Albany. He resided here for a number of years, but is now filling an important position in the employ of the Mason-Ford Company, at Eddyville, which will be the future home of the couple. Mr. and Mrs. Mallory, accompanied by Miss Mallory, too their departure on the night train for Louisville.

In 1900, Sue H. Mallory, aged 29, born July 1870 in Kentucky, was living in New Trier, Cook, Illinois, with her husband, Harry Mallory, aged 32, born November 1867 in Indiana, and children, Julia W. Mallory, aged 5, born September 1894 in Kentucky, and Mary Mallory, aged 3, born January 1897 in Illinois, and servant, Rachel Conday, aged 29. Her husband was shown to be a general engineer.

In 1930, Sue R. Mallory, aged 59, widowed, was living on Bellport Avenue, Bellport, New York. Living with her was her widowed sister, Elizabeth Rodman, aged 67.

Obituary - MRS. SUE R. MALLOKY, 82, a Bellport resident for many years, died Friday at Union Memorial hospital in Baltimore, Md. Mrs. Mallory, born in Frankfort, Ky., came to Bellport about 44 years ago and had lived most of that time in her home on Bellport lane. In recent years she had wintered with her daughter, Mrs. Dudley R. Janvier, in Catonsville, Md., returning each summer to Bellport. Her husband, Harry C. Mallory, died in 1923. In addition to Mrs. Janvier, Mrs. Mallory is survived by two grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. Funeral services were held at 11 a. m. Tuesday at her Heliport residence with the Rev. Frederick I. Smith, pastor of the Bellport Methodist church, officiating, and interment was in Woodland cemetery in Bellport.

Estate - Sue R. Mallory of Bellport, who died June 5, left personalty valued at more than $10,000 and realty worth in excess of 110,000, according to the probate petition. The will directs that the entire estate be held in trust for the benefit of Mary M. Janvier, daughter, Catonsville, Md. She is to have the income and the principal may be invaded for her benefit. Upon her death, remaining principal will pass to Mary J. York and Patricia Janvier, granddaughters, Catonsville. The daughter and Dey C. Demarest, friend, Bellport, are named executors.
