She was born September 17, 1918, at Cookville, to Charles T. and Mahala Jane Titsworth Clark, who preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Russell O'Dell and Ray Oberlin; and a nephew, Charles Russell O'Dell.
Florence was a supervisor at Laclede Electric Cooperative for over 35 years.
She was a longtime active member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and had served as music director, soloist, and was a vital member of the church.
She is survived by two sisters, Dorothy O'Dell and Katie Oberlin, both of Lebanon; nieces and nephews, Gretchen Brown and Nancy Scott, both of Lebanon; David O'Dell of Macks Creek; Mary Bell Oberlin of Springfield; Les Oberlin of Ladue and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services for Florence G. Clark were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 14, 2001, in the Holman-Howe Chapel with burial in the Lebanon Cemetery, under the direction of the Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.
Visitation was from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
A memorial has been established to Hillcrest Baptist Church.
