James A. "Jamie" Roller

Jamie was the son of John W. Roller & Mary Forgey. He married first Chole Shipman. He married second Emogene Anderson.

"Jamie" Roller, 79, Sparta, passed away Saturday, Feb. 10, in his home. Born Aug. 10, 1910, near Sparta, he was the son of John Wesley and Mary Forgey Roller.

A lifetime resident of the Sparta community, he was a retired farmer and school bus driver. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra Jean, and a son, Ival W. Roller.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Emogene, of the home; three sons and four daughters-in-law, Donald and Barbara Roller, Wesley and Violet Roller, Dale and Cathy Roller and Juanita Roller, all of Sparta; a sister-in-law, Mabel Roller, Sparta; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Dwayne Bray and John Chaffin officiating. Burial will be in Roller Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today in the funeral home.
