MRS. MINA SIGLER IS SUMMONED TO REWARD

Mrs. Mina Sigler, 76, wife of A. J. Sigler, residing at 801 South Anderson street, died at 8:40 o'clock this morning, of cancer after an illness of about three months.

She was one of the most prominent women of this community and was held in the highest of esteem by all who knew her. The family has resided in Elwood for the past nine years. Previous to removing to Elwood the family lived in this immediate vicinity, her husband being one of the most prominent farmers in this community.

She was a devoted member of the East Main Street Christian church and was very active in its affairs when her health permitted. In her passing the city and community loses one of its most highly respected women.

She was married to A. J. Sigler in 1868 and to this happy union were born two children, John H. Sigler, living two miles east and one-half mile north of Elwood, and Mrs. Oris Waymire, residing at 1830 North B street. There are eleven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at the East Main street Christian church Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock by the pastor, Rev. V. Hayes Miller, and the body will be placed in the mausoleum in the city cemetery.
