Dr Mace Bell was a prominent Vicksburg Eye Specialist and Surgeon. He trained at Memphis Hospital Medical College, and did post-graduate work in Chicago. He practiced in Memphis with Dr Ellett and came to Vicksburg in 1903 where he practiced for 30 years.
