Mrs. Palmer was born in Clayton, Ga., the daughter of the late Tom and Norma Clark. She lived a full long life. She had a deep love for the mountains, painting, and anything else that struck her fancy. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Palmer was preceded in death by her husband, James Rogers “Spud” Palmer, Sr.; and brothers, Jessie and Bill Clark.
Survivors include a son, James Palmer, Jr., Nicholson; brother, Dayton Clark, Carrolton; granddaughter, Jamie Palmer Wise, Tifton; and great-grandsons, James, William, and John “J.R.” Wise.
