Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Stedman Stewart, 83, formerly of Beaumont, were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Hyde Park Funeral Home in Houston. Mrs. Stewart died at 3 p.m. Monday in the Morgan's Nursing Home there. She was the wife of the late Guy Stedman, one of the founders of the Stedman Co. here. A native of Houston, she lived in Beaumont about 40 years. She was the mother of H.S. (Buster) Stedman of Beaumont. Survivors include two other children, Mrs. H.C. Dudley of Houston and Guy W. Stedman Jr. of Pasadena; three brothers, Ed, Joe and Malcolm Isaac, all of Houston; three sisters, Mrs. Katie Christian, Mrs. Clark Harbolt and Mrs. Blanche Thompson, all of Houston; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Graveside services were to be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Magnolia Cemetery here with Dr. Stewart Clendenin, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating.
