From the 1920's until the 1970's Pete lived in St. Louis. His last address in St. Louis was 910 Morrison Avenue. In the 1970's, Pete moved back to New Orleans and made his home with his youngest child, James and his family.
Pete liked dogs, cigars, baseball, T-Birds, and reading.
Pete was survived by his daughter and son, daughter-in-law, and five grandchildren.
