Adolph L. Yeske, 88, of Manchester, husband of the late Dorothy E. (Tedford) Yeske, died Wednesday (April 25, 2001) at St. Francis Hospital. He was born July 12, 1912 in New York City, NY, son of the late Robert and Agusta (Dredger) Yeske Sr. and had lived in Hartford and Newington for many years before moving to Manchester in 1986. He was a member of the Salvation Army Citadel in Manchester, the Trinity Lodge #36 Order of Odd Fellows in Hartford, the Sequin Lodge #99 A.F. & A.M. and the Manchester Senior Citizens Center. Prior to his retirement he had been employed as an x-ray technician with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft for over 27 years.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews, and many close friends. He was predeceased by three brothers, Edward Yeske, William Yeske and Robert Yeske Jr. Graveside services will be held Friday, May 4, at 10:30am in the Rose Hill Memorial Park in Rocky Hill. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army Citadel, 661 Main St., Manchester, CT.
