William (Willie) David White was born to Joseph Pinkney White and Mary (Molly) Jane Harvell White in Oxford, Ark. on May 2, 1892. He was the oldest of 7 boys. Willie married Nora Delpha Montgomery on December 8th 1913. Willie and Nora had 1 son, Ewell Harlin White born November 7th, 1914.
After digging through family records and going to Union Cemetery this past September. I believe that the Willie in your Memorial is my Uncle and that when they replaced the rock (which has his initials WDW) that is stood up just in front of the headstone, they got the death year mixed up with his age at the time of his death. He was 24 when he passed away and Willie is buried near other family members.
