Mildred is also survived by many nieces and nephews she loved so much. One of the nieces we would like to thank for her love and care of mom is Betty Walters, of Lubbock. She was her daily phone call and source of laughter.

The family would like to thank the staff on the Palliative Care floor at Covenant Hospital and the Hospice staff who helped mom transition peacefully and pain free; having individually walked each family member through the journey. God bless each of you!

Visitation will be Saturday, February 27, 2016, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Resthaven Funeral Home with graveside services following at 2:00 pm with Pastor Paul Crooks officiating. Pallbearers will be Brett Parker, Cody Johns, Buck Allen, Cory Wisdom, Mark Hanna, and Tyler Riggan
