Her parents were: Louis Carl Zinke and Marie Augusta Luther. The family immigrated to America from Germany in 1893. Louis was in the German Army and highly decorated, fell out of favor with the new regime and they fled Germany in 1893. He was a Pharmacist and Agriculturist in Germany having studied several years for both. After coming to New York City they moved to Warsaw, NY where he became the Superintendent for H. Wadsworth Dairy Farm "Ashantee Dairy" in Geneseo and Warsaw, NY. In abt. 1904 he opened and operated the Buffalo Sanitary Creamery, burned in about 1912. Operated dairy farms in Avon, Eden, and Alden, New York. After his wife died he lost his investments in "The Crash"; employed at Buffalo University Medical School as Embalmer. Frieda Emma Zinke married Horace Hobson ALLEN in 1918 and they worked for his Uncle Frank Allen in the Home Dairy Company in Buffalo, New York. They had 2 children, Robert, b. 1919 d.1990, and Lois Jean Allen-Disher, b. 1925 [living Anaheim, CA as of 2016]. Divorced in 1928. She married Albert Carl Orcutt [1891-1982]. He had one daughter by his first marriage: Mary Jane Orcutt, who went to Buffalo University and became as well respected teacher in the public school system in Buffalo for over 45 years. Horace Allen remarried to Ann Tiedeman, and they also worked for the Home Dairy Co. in Corning, NY and operated their own "Allen's Dairy" in Corning from the late 1930s until the mid 1950s, as well as three large dairy farms in Savona, and Corning, NY. Horace died in 1957. Horace and Ann Allen had 16 children.
