Graveside services will be held for Edith Bailiff at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Woodside Cemetery, under the direction of Hilliard Funeral Home, Van.
Edith Ora Vessell Bailiff was born March 26, 1930 in Ben Wheeler, Texas and passed away at the age of 85 on February 22, 2016 in Mineola. She had been a resident of Mineola since 1968, formerly living in California for 30 years. She belonged to many organizations, including Rebekah's Lodge and American Legion.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Bailiff; son, William L. Bailiff Jr.; daughter, Patricia J. Bailey; parents, Joseph & Dovie Vessell; and sisters, Juanita and Ruby.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Bonnie & Charlie Taylor of Mineola, Michael Bailiff of Mineola, Thomas & Mitzi Bailiff of Sherman; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Colleen & Chuck Chiles of California; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
