She had been a resident of Mineola since 1968, formerly living in California for 30 years. She belonged to many organizations, including Rebekah's Lodge and American Legion.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Bailiff; son, William L. Bailiff Jr.; daughter, Patricia J. Bailey; parents, Joseph & Dovie Vessell; and sisters, Juanita and Ruby.
Survivors include her children and their spouses, Bonnie & Charlie Taylor of Mineola, Michael Bailiff of Mineola, Thomas & Mitzi Bailiff of Sherman; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Colleen & Chuck Chiles of California; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
