Born in Windsor, SC, she was the daughter of the late Elton T. Eubanks and the late Gladys A. Owens Eubanks. She was twice married, first to the love of her life, her first husband, the late Melvin L. Marrow, who died in 1975, and later to the late Clifton H. Mullikin, Jr. who died in 2006.

Mrs. Mullikin attended Aiken High School, and was a Spinner at the Wamsutta plant in Anderson for approximately 20 years. Later she was associated with her daughter, Connie, as together they built a successful restaurant, International Deli in Seneca, a position from which she retired in 2006. Mary Lois enjoyed the outdoors, especially flower gardening, and she loved to fish. She was known by family, friends and customers as a wonderful cook. Mrs. Mullikin was a member of Refuge Baptist Church, Central.

Left to carry on her legacy is her son, Ronnie W. Marrow and his wife, Wanda, of Royston, GA; a daughter, Connie G. Marrow Watkins and her husband, Ronald, of Anderson; 2 step-daughters, Connie Owens and her husband, Derrell, of Anderson and Patricia Shuler and her husband, Jimmy, of Ware Place, SC; a granddaughter, Lauren A. Watkins-Swanson; a step-granddaughter, Elizabeth L. Turner, and her life-long best and closest friend, Brenda Reid of Central. Also surviving is her dear, devoted companion and friend, her little Chihuahua, Champ.
