FRIDAY HABOR, Dec. 31-- Mrs. James Farnsworth, pioneer resident of San Juan Island, passed away at the home of her son, Fred Anderson, in Seattle, Monday, and funeral services were held there Wednesday. Mrs. Farnsworth was well known among pioneers. Her husband preceded her in death.

Believe date to be around 11 October 1900 time at Portland, Oregon. Melvina moved to Washington State after death of husband to be near two of her Anderson sons.
