Eva L. Thomas, 64, of South Road 340E in Elizabethtown, wife of Morris Thomas, died at 1:25 p.m. Thursday at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis. She had been ill two months.
Funeral service will be conducted by Rev. Fred Darling and Rev. Marshall Tolle at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hathaway-Myers Funeral Chapel. Calling hours will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorials my be made to Sandcreek-Azalia Friends Church, where Mrs. Thomas was a member or to Bartholomew County Area Hospice.
Mrs. Thomas was born May 1, 1922, in Bartholomew County, the daughter of Mildred Swengel Adams of Columbus and the late Doris Adams. She was married to Thomas Feb 13, 1943, in Selina, Kan.
Other survivors include a daughter, Jeannie Sitterding; a brother, Donald Adams; and two grandsons, Joe and Tim Sitterding, all of Columbus.

Funeral service for Eva L. Thomas, 64, of Road 340 East, Elizabethtown, was conducted Monday by the Rev Marshall Tolle and the Rev. Fred Darling at Hathaway-Myers Funeral Chapel. Organist was Beth Dutcher and soloist was Thelma Birdwell.
Burial was a Garland Brook Cemetery. Pallbearers were Albert Morris, Marvin Rutan, Gene Wint, Bill Jensen, David Skinner, and Henry Wischmeier. Honorary pallbearers were Richard Thomas, Ernest Lykins, Wilmer Boots, Ernest Piper, Raymond Chambers, A.R. Engle, Roy Schooler and Henry Fischer.
Mrs. Thomas died Thursday at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis.
