WEST POINT -- Mr. Donald Adams, 77, of West Point died Wednesday, March 16, 2005 in Valley.

Memorial services are scheduled Friday, March 18 at 7 p.m. at McCarthy Funeral Home with the Rev. Steve Sexton officiating.

Mr. Adams is survived by three sisters, Imogene Alexander of Buchanan, Ga., Myrline Bishop of Alexander City, Ala., and Geraldine Bleier of Valley; and several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Penny Walden of Lanett.

Born in Hogansville, Ga., on Jan. 14, 1928, Mr. Adams was the son of the late Jewell Williams Adams and Arthur Loton Adams. He was a loved brother, uncle and friend. Mr. Adams was predeceased by two sisters, Juanita Ogletree and Patsy Pardue, and one brother, Benny Adams. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Valley.
