Sherrey was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Josie Ila Bills, and her son, Jonathan L Howard. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Darwin L. Howard; her two sons: Michael D. Howard (Eileen), Paul J. Howard (Kimberly); and her daughter, Julianne Howard Cox (Steven Cox). She had 9 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her two sisters: Donna Bills Tomblinson, Connie Bills Tank; and her brother, Leslie "Bud" Bills.

She was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho where she attended primary school and high school, she completed her 4 year Nursing Degree and Nurses Training at St. Luke's Hospital in Boise, Idaho in 1953.

Dar and Sherrey were married in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple in 1953, and began a 62 year journey through life together, they were best friends. Sherrey accompanied Dar on many of his business travels covering much of the world. They were constant companions throughout their lives.

Sherrey lived a life of love and kindness, she was a friend to all and never knew a stranger. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was dedicated to her faith and provided service to many. She accepted many callings in the LDS Church that greatly impacted young people. She also provided her time and talents to the LDS Social Services Program.

She will be greatly missed by her family, and all that knew her.

A visitation will be at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, February 22, 2016 with a funeral service to follow at 10:30 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Centennial Chapel, Mountain Shadows Ward, 5375 Centennial Boulevard. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery.
