"AFTER LINGERING ILLNESS--MRS MARCIA CHAPPEL DIED TUESDAY NIGHT AT HOME NEAR CARTHAGE
Mrs. Marcia Chappel, daughter of Josiah and Mary Ann Hill Binford, died at her home near Carthage Tuesday evening at 9 o'clock, after a lingering illness. She leaves a son, one sister, Mrs. Emma Jane Chappel, and four brothers, Charles, Irvin, David and Walter Binford.

Mrs. Chappel was born at the old homestead at Walnut Ridge, where she lived until her marriage.

The funeral will take place at Walnut Ridge church Thursday afternoon at 2:30 and burial at Walnut Ridge cemetery. Mrs. Chappel was 56 years old. H. Eshelman is the undertaker in charge."
