Born Aug. 28, 1947, in Logansport, he was the son of the late Vearl and Maggie R. (Dubuque) Welker.
On April 12, 1970, in Flora, he was married to the former Mary Jane Wilson, who survives.
Norman was retired from Shaffer Dairy.
He was a member of the 54 Car Club and the Winamac Eagles. Norman enjoyed woodworking and fishing.
Surviving with his wife, Mary Jane, are two sons, Brian Welker, Burnettsville, and Shawn (Amber) Welker, Royal Center; brother, Bob Busch; sisters, Patty Newell and Vearladene Turnpaugh; and grandchildren, Dustin, Colton, Isabelle, Nathanial Welker and Haley Gleitz.
He was preceded in death by a brother, John Welker; and half-sister, Mary Kathryn Russo.
A funeral , Feb. 24, in Fisher Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Scott Ellison officiating.
Burial will follow in Davis Cemetery.
