Louise Calhoon was the third daughter and youngest child of Elmer and Audrey McClanahan Calhoon. She was born in a community called Old Liberty which is now called Crossroads. She married Warren Butler on January 15, 1943, in Hempstead County, Arkansas. They had three daughters. She died on December 15, 2015, in Hot Spring County, Arkansas, at the age of 91. Louise was my cousin, Her mother was my grandmother Edith's sister and her Dad was my grandfather Alvie Calhoon's brother. Her first name was after a cousin of her father who had been raised in his family's home after the death of Addie's parents when she was a child. Louise was a wonderful warm person and I loved her dearly.
