Westfield – Mrs. Amelia (Benson) Avery Kasheta, 93, of 46 Parker Ave, native of Southampton, resident here 50 years and widow of Joseph Kasheta, died Wednesday in Western Massachusetts Hospital. She leaves 133 descendants, including four sons, Alfred and George Avery, both of Westfield; William Avery of Chicago and Ernest Avery of Russell; two daughters, Mrs. Alice Road and Mrs. Evelyn Young, both of Westfield; a sister, Mrs. Fannie Helditch of Niagara Falls; 37 grandchildren, including Mrs. Shirley W Lowe, with whom she lived; 82 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Saturday afternoon at Healey funeral home with burial in Pitcher Street Cemetery, Montgomery.
