Funeral services were held Monday in Trinity Methodist Church for W.C. Pavey, 52 years old, Nickel Plate railroad agent at New Castle for the last 15 years, who died Saturday in Henry County Hospital after several months illness. Burial was in Southmound Cemetery.
Mr. Pavey was a native of Crawford County and was active here in the affairs of the Trinity Methodist Church where he was a teacher in the Willing Workers class.
Survivors include his widow, Audrey; a daughter, Mrs. Paul Ray; a son, Gene Pavey; his father, Rawley Pavey; three sisters, Vivian Smith, Mrs. Otis Goldman and Mrs. Armel Hughes; and three brothers, Matty, Charles and Lee Pavey.
