Daughter of Catherine Millett & Major Denney. She moved to Kane County with her family when she was very young. On July 3rd, 1862, Kane Co., IL, she married Orlando K Woodward. The couple moved to Iowa (probably to her father's farm) & in 1870 were living with Harriet's brother Harrison A Denney. They returned to Illinois by 1873, settling in Big Rock Township where they had their first child, Lewis. A second son, Charles, was born in 1882. There is no 1880 census record for the family.

1). Lewis (1873 IL- ?) m. Marian A Lilley in 1906 but I find no record of the couple together
