FUNERAL HELD FOR HENRIETTA ROBINSON OF PIONEER EBEY FAMILY
Last rites for Henrietta Ebey Robinson at the McKinney chapel in Blaine Tuesday afternoon left only the memory of a Northwest Washington pioneer woman of distinguished heritage. Col. Isaac N. Ebey, whose name is prominently linked with the settlement of Whidby island, was a grandfather of Mrs. Robinson. And Phoebe N. Judson, the "Mother of Lynden" and the first white woman to travel into the forest lands north of Bellingham bay, was one of her grandmothers.

Mrs. Robinson was the wife of J. K. (Ken) Robinson. Their home was on Blaine Route 2, where they took up residence several years ago, removing from Bellingham.

The late Mrs. Victor A. Roeder was a sister of Mrs. Robinson.

The Ebeys and the Judsons were close friends on Whidby island in the 60's before Col. Ebey was beheaded by Indians in revenge for the killing of a tribesman by parties unknown. There Anna Judson became the bride of Eason Ebey.
