AYNOR | Albert ''L.B.'' Gasque, 70, of Moores Mill Road, died Monday, June 9, 2008 at Loris Hospital following a short illness.
Mr. Gasque was born August 1, 1937 in Aynor, South Carolina, a son of the late Albert Henry and Evelyn Martin Gasque. He was a member of Pleasant Union Baptist Church. A man who will be missed by his loving wife, family, church, and all the children who expected ''gum'' from uncle ''B.''
Mr. Gasque was predeceased by three brothers, Thurman Gasque, Calvin Gasque, and Henry Gasque; three sisters, Christine Martin, Eitha Collins and Gladys Jones.
Surviving are his wife and best friend of 49 years, Ada Faye Rabon Gasque of the home; three sisters, Lillie Mae Lewis and Hazel Lewis of Aynor, and Nathalee (Johnnie) Dixon of Pageland; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 11, 2008, from 2 until 4 p.m. in Pleasant Union Baptist Church. The funeral will begin at 4 p.m. in the church, with the Rev Dock Rabon and the Rev. Lindsay Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
