FICKEL VIRGINIA R. FICKEL (known as Jean) was born on February 16, 1919 and died on February 8, 2016. She was the youngest daughter of parents Mary and Frank Fickel (deceased). She was predeceased by her siblings Frank Fickel (Marge) and Dorothy Resch(Edward). She was also predeceased by a nephew Robert Fickel (Erleen) and a niece Dorothy Pieslak(Ray). She is survived by five nephews: Tom Fickel of St. Croix, Edward Resch (Beverly)of Chagrin Falls, James Resech (Molly) of Tampa,FL., David Resch(Carol) of Naples, FL and Michael Resch (Gail) of Gates Mills. She is also survived by ten great nieces and nephews, their spouses and their twenty-four children. Jean was employed for over 40 years as an executive secretary at Ferbert-Schorndorfer which became part of Exxon Mobil. She was an avid golfer, bridge player and a great cook. She will be missed by her family. Mass of the Christian Burial Monday February 22, at 11AM at St. Mel Church 14436 Triskett Rd.. Family will receive friends 10-11AM at the church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. ARRANGEMENTS BY DONLON FUNERAL HOME.
