Mrs. J. C. Bean of Brookston, the wife of a prominent farmer of the community died suddenly at 8 o'clock yesterday morning at the Sanitarium on Bonham street, where she was brought for treatment Sunday afternoon. The family did not realize that she was in any immediate danger and her death was so unexpected that they were not with her when the end came. She had been in gradually failing health for some time.

The immediate cause of her death was heart failure.

She was the daughter of the late Dr. C. Bullett and was born and reared in Paris.

She was married to John C. Bean December 26, 1882, since which time she had resided at Brookston.

She is survived by her husband and two children, John Bean, Jr. of Brookston, and Mrs. Rufe Cagle of Blossom. Three brothers, Hon. A. C. Bullett and Hon. Gordon Bullett, prominent attorneys at San Antonio, and Dr. Sam Bullett of Huntington, TX, also survive her. They will arrive today to attend the funeral.

The funeral service will be held at 4 o'clock this afternoon at the residence of E. L. Kimball 504 Lamar Avenue, conducted by Revs. M. L. Hamilton and W. T. Whiteside.

Burial will be at the Odd Fellow cemetery.
