Keith Cline Burton, 70, of Parksville, died Monday February 15, 2016. Born October 13, 1945 in Boyle County, he was the son of the late Virgil Milton and Edith Johnson Burton. Keith attended Parksville School and loved to fish. He had a passion for old cars, especially the '57 Chevy. Keith was the rock of the family who loved making memories with them especially camping with his grandchildren. Keith retired from Boyle County Road Company after 21 years and the Boyle County Fire Department, Engines 3 & 5 after 48 years of dedicated service. He loved the EMS and the Boyle County Fire Department, it was his passion to help others and be there to help if there was a fire. In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by a sister, Morrine (Alton) Burton.Keith is survived by his wife, Peggy Johnson Burton, two daughters, Sarah (Bradley Ray Graham) Burton of Lancaster and Sherry Burton Mattingly of Danville, a sister, Patricia (Howard) Belcher of Parksville, three grandchildren, Justin Burton, Sean Burton, and Sharlee McAnly, and two great grandchildren, Kinley Barker and Shalilah McAnly.The funeral will be at 2 p.m., Friday February 19, 2016 at Pleasant Run Baptist Church with Rev. Earnest Fields, Jr., Rev. Jimmy McPherson, and Theron Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Parksville Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5 p.m., Thursday February 18, 2016 at Stith Funeral Home, Junction City. Pallbearers will be Justin Wilson, Joe Goode, Mark Belcher, Travis Johnson, Kenneth Adams, Clifton McQueary, David McQueary, and Anthony Harness. Honorary pallbearers will be Courtney Johnson, Amanda Saylor, Kara Asbury, Kelly Johnson, Jessica Alford, Felicia Spears, and Kim Durham. Memorial donations are suggested to Boyle County Volunteer Fire Department, Engines 3 & 5.
