He was born Oct. 18, 1930, in DuBois, the son of the late Joseph and Lena (Assalone) Albino.
He was married to the former Ursula Mondi, who preceded him in death on May 15, 2012.
He was a laborer/truck driver for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and he loved bowling.
He is survived by a daughter, Sandy Scialabba and husband Bernie of York, Pa.; a sister, Rose Maxwell of DuBois; five grandchildren, Nicole Lovich and husband Justin, Michele Scialabba, Lynae Shepp and husband Nate, Karrie Scialabba and Valerie Scialabba; and a great-grandson, Landon Shepp.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, at the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 19, 2016, at Ss. Cosmas and Damian Roman Catholic Church in Punxsutawney, with Msgr. Joseph J. Riccardo officiating.
Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Punxsutawney.
The family requests that donations in memory of Mr. Albino be made to the charity of the donor's choice .
