Mrs. Vickie Irene Parker Branton, age 79, passed away February 14, 2016 at her residence.
Mrs. Branton was born in Conway, a daughter of the late William Clyde and Mary E. Thomas Parker. She was a member of Tilly Swamp Baptist Church and a very committed choir member. Mrs. Branton was a devoted and loving wife and mother and always there to help family and friends anyway she could. She was a football mom and very involved with her son, Willie, in the Boy Scouts. Mrs. Branton enjoyed crocheting, decorating and was a collector of many things. She was Ward Secretary for Conway Hospital for 20 years, retiring in 1995.
Mrs. Branton was predeceased by her children, Willie Leo Branton born April 10, 1953, Donna Marie Branton born November 18, 1959, Boy born 1960, Girl born 1960, Boy born 1962, Girl born 1963, Donald Joseph Branton born September 1964 and a brother Thomas Clyde Parker.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday at Tilly Swamp Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Altman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM Wednesday at the church.
