Martha “Mott” Bryant Stanley, age 78, passed away on February 14, 2016.
Born in Anderson, SC, she was the daughter of the late Troy Elvyn Bryant and the late Delia Stone Bryant. She was a graduate of Girl’s High and worked at AT&T for many years. Mott was a member of First Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband, Joe Stanley; two sons, Joey Stanley and his wife Melinda, of Simpsonville, SC, and Daryl Stanley, of Charlotte, NC; a brother, Elvyn L. Bryant and his wife Carolyn, of Anderson, SC; two sisters, Dottie B. Lee and her husband Randy, of Iva, SC, and Lu Broome and her husband Bill, of Iva, SC; several nieces and nephews; two dogs, Trapper and Thor; and two cats, Tigger and Jack.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lynda Riendeau.
Interment: First Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
