Edgar was born on Dec. 7, 1879 in Ranger, TX and Died May 30, 1961.

James Edgar was always called Edgar. He was the son of James Gresham Flournoy and Kittie (Dawson) Flournoy. Edgar was married to Alice Walters who died in a house fire. He then married a Clara Tweedale from Jamestown, New York. They had four children. Edgar and Alice had one daughter Yula Flournoy Kaufman. She was 3rd runner-up in a Miss America contest, but I don't know the year. James Edgar was a telegrapher with the railroad. (Sara E.)
