Jim was an extremely loving husband to Betty of 57 years, and proud father of four daughters Betty Jean and husband Dale Curren, Bonnie and husband Mike Dietzen, Benita and husband Jack Leach and Pam and husband Doug Shook, all residing in the immediate area.
He was also a proud Grandfather of nine grandchildren, Cameron and Drew Curren, Jacob Leach and his wife Tera, Jessica Teague, Blake Dietzen (who has preceded him in death), Marcus and Mitch Dietzen, Kristen Saullo and her husband Michael, and Ashley Shook. He also had six great grandchildren, Hunter, Haileigh, and Sidney Leach, Ally and Kait Teague, and Lilly Lunsford as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. His siblings include Lila, Dolores, and Shirley. Brother Melvin and sister Adelle preceded him in death.
Jim enjoyed spending time with family and friends, taking drives in whatever Sunday car he had at the time and soaking up some sun on his deck with his wife and dogs by his side. He was also quite a gardener who enjoyed many a day growing fresh vegetables to occupy his time.
He was a very loving and gentle man.
