George Beacraft spent part of his early life in Ontario Canada. He married Eliza Huyck and several of their children were born there. They had William, Anna, Alice, and Dexter.

His occupation was as a shoemaker. Around 1870, he moved his family to MI where they lived for many years. He and his wife later moved to the Tacoma WA area.

He lived to be 75 years, 8 months, and 28 days old.
