She been a Bristow area resident most of her life graduating in 1960. On June 24, 1960 Janet Troxel and Floyd Joslen were united in marriage. To this union were born two children, Jeff and Deanna. They enjoyed nearly 50 years together before his passing January 12, 2010.
She worked at Kwikset for a number of years. She enjoyed ceramics, gardening, crafts, shopping and going to garage sales. She was known to make delicious French toast for the grandchildren. She also enjoyed finding a good bargain and listening to Elvis Presley. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by one son, Jeff Joslen and wife Terri of Dewey, Oklahoma; one daughter, Deanna Dobson and husband Travis of Richmond Hill, Georgia; two sisters, Paula Murphy and husband Dean of Bristow, Oklahoma and Marcia Keathly and husband David of Ponca City, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren, Jordann Scott, Merrick and wife Renee Wiles, Brooke and husband Jake Callahan, Meagan Wiles, Jessie Joslen, Madison Alcorn, Abbi Dobson, Emily Dobson, William Dobson and Ally Alcorn; five great grandchildren, Hurli Sayge Callahan, Paityn Sawyer Callahan, Avery Rose Wiles, Brayden Matthew Wiles, Stockton John Wayne Scott and Blakeli Sloan Callahan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Funeral services ~ Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the First Church of God with Reverend Brent Hinkle officiating. Interment was at the Bristow City Cemetery.
