J. Carl Knouse, 81, Liverpool native
PORT ROYAL - J. Carl Knouse, of Port Royal RD2, died yesterday. Born June 5, 1903, in Liverpool, he was a son of the late Oliver P. and Ada Kauffman Knouse. He was married to the former Hazel Clark.
He was a retired construction worker superintendent at Brown, Davis and White Construction Co. of Lebanon. Mr. Knouse was a member of the Lower Tuscarora Presbyterian Church; and Union Lodge of F&AM,, Mifflintown.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a brother Harold of Newport; and a sister, Laura Wert of Millersburg. The funeral will be conducted tomorrow in Mifflintown.
